So this little lovely is called a monkey faced eel. probably one of the most well designed killing machines on the face of the planet. We commonly catch them in the lobster traps in deeper water.
incredibly strong jaws lined with razor-sharp teeth.
very sharp spines line the back and belly fins from just below the head all the way to the tail. Their trick seems to be that when grabbed behind the head, they curl and writhe until they can dig these spines into your arm. When you let go, that’s when they go for the bite. Pretty sure if they grew much larger, they would rule the world.
